Contact:  Erin Hatfield, (405) 702.7119

The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) introduced a new, interactive map for residents of Ottawa County.  All residential properties within Ottawa County are eligible for free yard testing and cleanup of contaminated mine waste in relation to the Tar Creek Superfund Site.  The map allows residents to enter their address and learn whether or not their property has been previously determined clean through soil sampling.  To sign up for free yard testing in Ottawa County, or for more information, please contact the DEQ hotline at: (800) 522-0206.
