The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is pleased to announce the availability of funding from the Volkswagen Settlement Trust Non-Road Program.  Approximately $3,500,000 is available for a reimbursement program to replace or repower four eligible categories of non-road equipment.  The goal of this program is to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions by replacing or repowering older equipment with newer diesel or alternative fueled equipment.  This is a competitive funding opportunity available to government and non-government applicants.  Eligible equipment categories are 1) freight switchers, 2) ferries or tugs, 3) airport ground support equipment, and 4) forklifts and port cargo handling equipment.  A cost-share is required for funding under this program.

Applications will be accepted through September 30, 2023.  For an application or more information please visit https://www.deq.ok.gov/air-quality-division/volkswagen-settlement/non-road-program/ or email questions to: VWSettlement@deq.ok.gov
