Covid 19 News & Information

In response to COVID-19, all DEQ offices are closed to outside visitors. Most of our employees are now working from home and available by email. For local office contact information, go to:

UPDATED: DEQ is receiving and distributing mail to the divisions. Documents will be reviewed and acted on as normal but response times may be slower. Divisions expect that permit conditions and compliance schedules will continue to be met but understand that closures and illness may limit this ability. DEQ will be flexible as needed and appropriate. Communicate non-compliance issues with DEQ staff through email or program specific reporting telephone numbers which may be found on the divisional webpages.

  • At this time, the State Laboratory is open, but again, please contact DEQ at 405.702.1000 to ensure someone is available to receive samples. In the event the DEQ building closes to all outside visitors, the State Laboratory will not accept private water well and non-compliance samples.
  • In person payments are no longer being accepted. Make payments by mail, phone, or fax. Checks or money orders can be mailed to:

DEQ ASD – Accounts Receivable
PO Box 2036
Oklahoma City, OK 73101

Visa and MasterCard payments can be made via phone by calling (405) 702-1130. Please have your invoice or permit number available when calling. Card payments can also be paid via fax. Our secure fax line is (405) 702-7120. For information regarding electronic payments, please email

We will update this page as well as all of our social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) when new information becomes available.
